If it’s not the right book for you, not what you expected etc. We realise that choosing the right book can sometimes be difficult. We have a 100% satisfaction policy means that you can return any item you have bought from us within 14 days of purchase for credit, refund or exchange, provided they are still in prime condition of course. Sorry, but we cannot exchange items where the seal on the CD or disk container has been broken. This is an acceptance of the licensing terms by the buyer, and also means we cannot supply this book to anyone else in the future. We also do not accept returns of items that are listed a Special Order or Firm Sale. We do not refund the original delivery cost for unwanted items returned more than 7 days from day of receipt, also we do not refund the return postage cost to us for any unwanted items. If you think the item is faulty or damaged Faulty printing does sometimes occur and there have sometimes been cases of damage during transit. In this case you can return the item either for an exchange or a full refund. When you request a returns number we will provide you with a Freepost address (for UK customers) to return the item to. In the case of a full refund we will also refund the original delivery cost. How do you go about returning an item to Computer Manuals? Email us at returns@microsoft-press.co.uk (or contact us via an alternative method) with the reason for your return and you will be given a returns number and an address to which to send the parcel. Please do not return items to us without first obtaining a returns number, as it may delay your refund/exchange. Please clearly mark your parcel with the returns number given and enclose the original despatch note or a covering letter. Please remember to obtain a certificate of posting from the Post Office which is free of charge and keep as your receipt until the transaction has been completed. Once we have received the item(s) we will refund, credit or exchange as requested, in accordance with the above terms.
